Moraga Police Holding Town Hall Meetings - September 17 and October 17
Moraga Police will be hosting two Town Hall meetings, led by Chief Jon King, to discuss crime information and trends with residents, answer questions and discuss common issues. The meetings will be held on Tuesday, September 17, and Thursday, October 17, 7:00 pm, at the Joaquin Moraga Intermediate School auditorium, located at 1010 Camino Pablo in Moraga. MCSP Citizens Advisory Committee Meeting – Thursday, September 19
The third meeting of the Moraga Center Specific Plan (MCSP) Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC) is scheduled for 6:30 pm on Thursday, September 19, at Saint Mary’s College Rheem Campus at 380 Moraga Road. The MCSP CAC is assisting the Town in crafting the zoning and development standards to implement the MCSP adopted in 2010. Moraga Way and Canyon Road/Camino Pablo Project Update
Over the weekend of September 7 and 8, Ghilotti Construction Company placed approximately 7,000,000 lbs. of asphalt pavement and Moraga Way received its final pavement surface composed of rubberized asphalt. Pavement resurfacing occurred at Canyon Road/Camino Pablo and Moraga Road/Corliss Drive intersections. Town Manager's Spending Limit Ordinance
The Council adopted an Ordinance to amend the Moraga Municipal Code, Section 3.04.30 - Contract Authority of the Town Manager to increase the Town Manager’s purchasing limit from $15,000 to $25,000. Commercial Zoning Code Amendments Ordinance

Cattle Grazing on Mulholland Ridge Open Space
The Council considered and approved extending the existing Cattle Grazing Agreement with John Hoover for an additional five years. The extension to the Right of Entry and License Agreement reduces fire fuels and mitigates fire hazards on Mulholland Ridge Open Space Preserve and generates additional revenue for the Town.
